JOB OVERVIEW:

Working together with TE Connectivity’s Regional Management Team based in the Netherlands. This role requires a strong level of skill and knowledge in all HR functional areas including Employee Relations, Learning & Development, HR Project Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, Engagement, Inclusion & Diversity, Occupational Health, Staffing & Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Operations. In this position, you will act as the strategic HR advisor to the Netherlands Leadership team as well as a partner with the other COE HR teams to delivery the overall HR Experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Strategic HR Advisor to all functional leadership– Coach and Advisor to managers, leaders and HR partners.
  • Coordinates with other HR functions (HR services, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to effectively manage the successful delivery of professional HR support to drive the business imperatives. 
  • Proven experience in Netherland Employment Law and Works Council collaboration.
  • Understand the Business Unit strategies and align HR priorities to them while balancing other functional HR priorities.
  • Strategically execute all HR initiatives, ensure consistent implementation and feedback to project owners.
  • As required, participate in regional/global project teams to ensure the Ireland HR perspective is not overlooked.
  • Ensure regular review of all country policies, processes and employee compensation & benefits to keep them aligned with internal and external trends and business needs.
  • Ensure the execution of the communications strategy for the sites in Netherlands
  • Ensure TE is fully compliant with local regulatory requirement and labour laws
  • Foster a climate of positive and productive employee relations
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and implement tools and metrics to support execution and monitoring.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources is mandatory
  • Relevant years of experience in HR generalist experience within a manufacturing organisation with specific Netherlands experience
  • Experience working in and influencing in a cross-functional global environment.
  • Experience managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.
  • Substantial knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices, in particular with Workers Council.
  • Experience in Employee Focused Communications would be a distinct advantage.
  • Detects internal and environmental changes and can influence relevant stakeholders to respond to those changes effectively
  • Continuous improvement mindset to support service to the business and reach efficiency in own team. 
  • Experience thinking strategically and acting operationally
  • Excellent communicator, facilitator, presenter & coach.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
