Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative, representative and coordinative support for senior management
  • Planning, organization and coordination of meetings, conferences, business seminars, visits or other corporate hospitality events including logistics
  • Travel arranging
  • Acting as contact person for IT, Finance and Purchasing department
  • Translation from English to German for any local queries
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs incl. local contact for vendors
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and assist in making travel arrangements
  • Working with local teams to prepare for country and customer visits
  • Telephone liaison with business intermediaries
  • Contributing to creating a positive environment for effective team communication
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Supporting various project

 

Your profile:                                                       

  • Commercial diploma (e.g. commercial apprenticeship or commercial college) or an equivalent education
  • 5+ years work experience in supporting senior management
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Advanced knowledge of computers, internet and software (MS Office, SAP)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively develop cohesive relationships with internal and external management, employees, vendors and visitors
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; good knowledge of additional European languages is an asset
