Continuous Improvement Analyst

This is a great opportunity to join our team that is seeking a like-minded person to coordinate improvement recommendations within our Application Tooling Business Unit.  

What you will be doing...

As a member of our Continuous Improvement Team within the Application Tooling Business Unit this individual will be responsible for assisting with implementing, coordination, and evaluating practices to eliminate waste, achieve targets, and improve the total enterprise using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies while educating employees and creating a culture of change.
 

As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, a typical day may include:

  • Supporting the integration of previously unconnected processes (departments) into one interconnected extended value stream as seen from the customer’s perspective
  • Developing and utilizing current and future start value stream maps to identify strategic projects corresponding 6-month implementation plans
  • Defining and sharing standardized programs to educate employees in the principles of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Have the patience, perseverance, and passion to drive the continuous improvement culture across the plant
  • Fostering the adoption of continuous improvement as a way of life and communicate with all levels

What your background should look like...

  • 5-8 years of lean manufacturing experience
  • Proven track record in organizational transformation, team leadership, and team development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or extensive experience
  • Lean Business Process Practitioner Certification
  • Kaizen Facilitator Certification
  • Ability to understand technical concepts
  • Highly energized and self-motivated personality with experience working with teams to implement a change
