Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst III

Job Responsibilities

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

 

This position will support Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit.

 

  • Primary job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Business partner for Product Management function, with a focus on product management, strategy and pricing
  • Support forecast for sales and margin impacts, with a focus on Round Contacts and Data Connectivity portfolios
  • Support strategic 5-year portfolio planning and optimization, including assessment of new product introduction and engineering project impacts, negative or low margin product analysis, and gap analysis to achieving 5-year sales
  • Support analytics around product line profitability down to a gross margin level
  • Support ad hoc requests
  • Assist in month end financial reporting, quarterly earnings release analysis, and ad hoc analysis as requested by business unit management, segment management or corporate FP&A team.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics including scenario modeling
  • Five years plus in FP&A or business analytics role
  • MBA or CMA preferred
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, Hyperion or BPC preferred
