Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.


 In addition to providing customer support and service, this position is responsible for providing general sales and marketing support, analysis, and reporting for the sales and marketing organization.


  • Assist with the development, implementation, and tracking of sales initiatives.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sales programs and practices designed to support revenue.
  • Review reports on sales activity and to compare them with planned action to assure close adherence to, improvement of, and maximal achievement of results.
  • Assist sales management in determining sales territory quotas
  • Cooperate with company executives and department heads for the maximum achievement of sales, profit, and satisfied customers.
  • Maintain the customer Top 20/70 list and provide commentary on trends.
  • Provide a customer retention analysis report.
  • Evaluate and provide information on our most significant growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate and provide information on growth sales trends by market.
  • Collate and provide sales commission reporting for finance.
  • Analyze win/loss with respect to number of quotes vs. number of orders received and reasons for loss if know.
  • Provide quotes, secure and process orders from existing and potential customers (approximately half time).
  • Clean up and maintenance of customer information.


Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Europe Sales Report for commissions
  • Territory Sales Reports for all Rep’s monthly commissions
  • Customer Concentration top 15 Customers, rolled up sales by country
  • Tracking R&D to production orders.
  • Other Customer Data
  • Manage Sales’ ownership of data inside/outside ERP system (e.g. state codes for sales tax, sales commission codes, etc.)


  • Train new Sales employees, or help develop others
  • Registration and preparation for Creganna Medical trade show participation, follow up on post show leads
  • Assist with and maintain/update website
  • Assist and maintain/update brochures
  • Work with IT on Automatic Order Acknowledgement
  • Implement EPICOR CRM module (Customer Resource Management)
  • Transition ‘ownership’ of Excel pricing program from Accounting to Sales
  • Work with I.T. to create a short Sales Dept. ‘dashboard‘ (e.g. Daily Bookings) for quick reference by all
  • Represent Sales interests regarding ERP issues
  • Maintain customer sales tax exemption certificates
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • BA/BS from a 4-year college or university; 3-4 years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write and communicate as needed with other employees and customers.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, sketches and diagrams and other technical procedures/instructions.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to use MS office.
  • Must have excellent phone skills.
  • Ability to generate routine and one of a kind reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
  • Competent organizational skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
