The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (AD&M) business unit of TE is part of the Industrial Solutions segment -- a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions that are used for applications in extreme and harsh environments. Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Analyse the existing customer base 
  • Define and develop an account strategy/plan (budget, analyse and follow up results)
  • Build a relationship between the customer and TE
  • Select and introduce (new) products and services, considering the customers’ needs
  • Sell the value propositions of TE products and services
  • Identify new opportunities and support the development engineering organisation to drive for results.
  • Coordinate with internal disciplines to serve the customer on time in terms of quotations, quality complaints, logistics, technical information, etc
  • The customer base is a strategic account with Tier2 subaccounts with high capability for new product developments.

Experience Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electromechanical engineering or a degree of comparable technical background. Alternatively, several years of professional experience in comparable field.
  • Minimum of 3 + years professional level Sales / AM experience with connectors or cable products and within Aerospace,Defence,Marine sectors
  • Needs a good understanding of technical issues
  • Should have had previous experience in account planning and relationship management
  • Ideally have a deep and broad knowledge of the Aerospace, Defence and Marine market.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organisation functions (inside and outside of TE)
  • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
