Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Tax Teams develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and local reports. They ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. They assess tax implications surrounding pending mergers and acquisitions. The Tax Teams recommend ways to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. They may administer international tax laws and regulations and also audit financial records to determine tax liability.

IN ORDER TO, what results      
Taxation:
Liaise with 3rd party vendor on the VAT invoice issue. Reconciliation between SAP and Golden tax system; follow with Customer service team for the special requirement of Invoices
 act as the primary contact, facilitate on-site tax audits and maintain good relationship with local tax authorities; liaise with other department (e.g., R&D Dept.) to prepare relevant documents and apply for dividend payment and premium tax deductions for R&D expenditures, and assist with Advanced Technology Enterprise application in order to ensure compliance with TE’s Corporate policies and tax regulations

(i) Prepare SOX documentation on tax functions in order to ensure the documents represent the company's existing situation; and
(ii) Implement a remediation plan to address SOX findings in order to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other TE's Corporate policies
