Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Recruiting and Staffing Teams develop and implement TE's recruitment strategy to attract and retain talent.


Based in Shanghai and as a key member of Staffing COE (Center of Excellence), the Staffing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, evaluating and selecting qualified employees to effectively meet TE’s staffing requirements.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Full life-cycle recruiting support of candidate pipelines for various functional areas.
  • Work collaboratively with BU HR Business partner, Hiring Managers to fulfill the specific hiring needs and provide professional talent advice.
  • Develop strategies to target and recruit candidate pool using a variety of traditional and innovative tools and techniques such as social media, industry events, online networking tools, technology forums and publications and alumni etc.
  • Design, build and implement innovative recruitment channel programs.
  • Identify strategic sources for talent and measure results of each source.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and interact with them over long periods of time.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process from sourcing candidates; qualifying candidates to position requirements for current and future opportunities; candidate assessment and hiring recommendations.
  • Maintain relevant and accurate candidate data by using ATS system.
  • Interface with other recruiters and staff to meet established goals and objectives, ensure efficient information sharing such as talent information, interview notes, progress tracking, best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • University Degree, major in HR is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of recruitment related experience in a similar business environment.
  • Relevant experience of sourcing candidates through a variety of means including job boards, social media, job fairs, networking, referrals etc.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple tasks or projects.
  • Good verbal and written English, proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, powerpoint, etc.).
