Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Overview

This role is responsible for providing product pricing strategy development for ICT APAC

Responsibilities

1.Data

Harvesting data from additional sources

Downloading & uploading pricing to SAP

Handling special price requests from GPMS

2.Market/Customer/Product

Segmenting of industries and customers

Understanding channel to market

Making recommendations for pricing opportunities

3.Analytics

Manipulate data to provide advanced insights (excel pivot tables, etc.)

Trending Analytics (market, customer, product)

Agreement Analytics

4.Strategy/Process

Understanding and implementing pricing strategy and process

Drive process optimization

5.Communication

Transfer information to stakeholders with clarity

6.People Management

Manages and develops a team of pricing analysts

 

Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

 

Required:

  • Initiates action to achieve goals beyond what is required
  • Experience in pricing products in different life cycle stages
  • Experience in pricing new products and customer pricing analytics
  • Self-motivated ability to proactively drive business improvements, willingness to adopt new pricing tools and initiate and/or accept changes
  • Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts focused on process implementation & execution
  • Working knowledge of TE Operational Advantage/Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Strong PC abilities; expert Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications is required
  • Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software also a plus
  • 8+Years of applicable experience
