Job Overview

TE Connectivity's AP Demand Manager leads AP regional demand planning process by providing analytical intelligence to the company as the initial input for driving Sales & Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, etc., and serve as primary liaison and expert in new demand management system deployment and business process improvements.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Lead the AP regional demand management and forecasting process, including procedure and metrics design and organizational buy-in to improve forecast accuracy and eliminate bias.
  • Responsible for KPI’s on continues improvements to Demand Forecast towards TEOA Star level 5 performance and key system initiatives (JDA 994, Salesforce.com bridge to JDA)
  • Reconcile S&OP plans with business visions. Develop KPI goals and track root cause analysis on KPI.
  • Responsible for long term Interco forecast accuracy improvement within TE Affiliates
  • Organize and facilitate regional S&OP review meetings through monthly cycle to achieve agreed execution plan with regular communications and tracking.
  • Lead JDA implementations and enhancements within AP offices
  • Work closely with sub-regional S&OP leaders in directing opportunities for customer demand shifting and supply allocation in order to maximize strategic customer service. Responsible for supporting AP offices on customer capacity checks across TE Affiliates
  • Lead or support cross-regional demand planning projects and initiatives for operational improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert influencing business partners to develop appropriate solutions and drive up performance.
  • Define IT and supportive tool needs to provide regional leadership with information to improve operations management practices / processes.
  • Assist in negotiating solutions with sales, engineering, plant, and finance to balance business target and internal supply.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, good knowledge about S&OP processes, and familiar with Xelus, JDA, SAP and IBP systems,
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, including verbal and presentation skills in English
  • Proven leadership skills in project management and change management
  • Advanced computer and analytical skills. Familiar with MS Office software operation. Details and results oriented.
  • Experience working in a global organization with multi-national diversity
  • Ability to work effectively with all business functions at all levels
  • Knowledge of TE’s products and manufacturing processes
