Overview / Purpose of the Job The Supply Chain Analyst role is a newly created role to support South China Platform to represent BU and manage day-to-day operational escalations, documentation to drive continuous improvement, ultimately to achieve operational excellence, improve logistics performance, increase efficiency and reduce logistics cost
Responsibilities:
South China Platform management:
• Support DC migration program to newly established South China Platform until closure
• Manage day-to-day operational coordination and escalations, exception / performance management including warehouse function and buyer consolidation in South China Platform
• Work with internal Global Logistics organization and related forwarders to manage Month-end / Quarter-end / Year-end push to support Sale Revenue recognition
Drop shipment / X-company flows:
• Manage documentation of X-company / Drop ship flows to make sure required document generated timely with high accuracy level
VMI management:
• Support VMI related programs including implementation, reporting, freight bill audit, coordination, exception management etc.
Others:
• Support other Logistics Transformation Initiatives when necessary
3 Requirements for a typical Job Holder / Applicant (not the actual incumbent at TE Connectivity)
Educational Degree Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operation Management, Statistics or related field
Professional Experience (years in what processes and function)
5+ years working experience in Logistics function with experience of people management
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Advanced knowledge for Warehousing management and all transportation modes (Air, Express, Ocean, Rail, Cross Boarder Trucking, Domestic Trucking), and ERP system knowledge is mandatory (SAP)
Other important things to note Strong experience in both Bonded and Non-bonded warehouse operations in China
