Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s ERP Systems Teams conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise wide systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Baan, PeopleSoft) across functional areas. They perform analysis of systems specifications and use the latest analytical/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. TE's ERP Systems Teams also develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, coordinate system upgrade activity and train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.

Job Description

  • TE Connectivity ERP systems team conducts analysis, design, evaluation, configuration, modification, development, testing and implementation of ERP systems across functional areas. This opportunity specifically refers to the SAP ERP system and Procurement & Materials functional areas.
  • Analyst will be required to identify business requirements, design solutions and implement IT solutions in the SAP Procurement and Materials Management modules.


  • Work with our customers (TE Business Units) to understand their business processes and conceptualize systems solutions in support of their business goals
  • Work with senior analysts to understand the existing SAP Purchasing and SAP Materials Management template
  • Propose configuration or custom development solutions to customers with help from senior analysts
  • Provide support & trouble shooting help  to customers
  • Work on small enhancements and SAP implementation projects
  • Work within the guidelines provided by the TE Information Systems methodology



  • Bachelors in information systems or computer science
  • Knowledge of SAP through internship, coursework or work experience
  • 0 to 2 years of work experience in a systems background
  • Excellent organization & communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter, willingness to learn and be mentored,
  • Work in a global environment with diverse cultures and time zones
  • 10 to 25% of travel may be required to Mexico, South America, Europe or Asia
