Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Materials Planning

Job Overview

As the Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will;

 

  • Use your strong understanding of Material Resource Planning systems
  • Schedule production loads considering available materials and capacity
  • Coordinates and communicates production requirements within the respective Value Stream
  • Help achieve performance targets including: delivery, inventory & productivity
  • Resolve tradeoffs and work with management to reach resolutions that are consistent with customer service and the business office
  • Update MRP dates and schedules to adjust production plan to any unforeseen conditions
  • Works closely with cross-functional leads to identify, plan and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between demand and supply
  • Works with buyers to assure raw materials and purchased parts meet production and delivery requirements
  • Monitors lead times and makes recommendations for lead time changes.
  • Reviews and understands Capacity Planning
  • Initiate and participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning, customer service and inventory management
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels ensuring uninterrupted supply of parts while maintaining optimal inventory levels

What your background should look like:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain
  • SAP Experience
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Rigorous, responsive, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • APICS / ASCM (Preferred)
