Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.  

 

TE Connectivity (TE) Corporate Technology Digital Factory Group has an opportunity for an Intern in Communications. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to develop ideas and marketing content to promote Digital Factory machine connectivity. The successful candidate will have strong skills in digital/social media with experience in SharePoint.

The Communications Intern will report to the Digital Factory Manager and interface directly with the Digital Factory team to gain hands-on experience while interacting with various areas of the company.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:   

  • Create content for TechNet SharePoint site
  • Assist with Digital Factory Machine Connectivity Communications
  • Assemble multi-media content that conveys Digital Factory Machine Connectivity capabilities across TE
  • Work closely with key resources to develop instruction documentation
  • Develop training and certification material for Machine Connectivity
  • Continuously seek innovative platforms to reach engineers across business units
  • Create statistical reports on roll-out of machine connectivity

Qualifications:

  • Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Communications
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to understand technical information, be concise, and capture interest
  • Knowledgeable on current communications trends and content marketing trends and practices
