Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.  

Responsibilities & Qualifications

This position is based with our Appliances business unit out of our Middletown, PA office. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Product Development Engineers to support:

 

  • Design and Documentation of existing product lines and product extensions
  • Collaborate with Development Engineering on new product designs to ensure continuity and smooth transition into production
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for cost savings, manufacturing improvements, and quality

 

Qualifications:

  • Eligible candidates will graduate between December 2018 and May 2019, and are currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous internship experience or leadership experience through extra-curricular activities is preferred.
