Job Overview

TE’s Marketing & Communications team is seeking an experienced digital communications professional to support the oversight and growth of our core internal communications channels and communities of users. The focus of the role is to help facilitate effective and engaging communications with our 75,000+ employees around the globe using digital communication tools by leading and empowering our network of communications champions.

 

Candidates should be quick learners that are familiar with the best practices of digital publishing and internal communications and can leverage the latest tools across wide variety of content and mediums. Writing and people skills along with design experience are important to be effective in the role.

 

In this role, you’ll work with multiple global communicators to drive content creation, help manage the distribution of executive communications and bring forward new ideas on how to engage our diverse workforce.

 

This position is based in Berwyn, PA, USA; Harrisburg, PA, USA; Winston-Salem, NC, USA; or Fremont, CA, USA

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day community management operations, building engagement and standardization with employee content creators
  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategies for employee communication tools
  • Lead and train the global network of TE communicators on best practices for publishing and management of digital channels
  • Use tools to monitor and analyze content and channel performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive learnings
  • Implementing and enhancing the communications team’s global content and translation strategy
  • Assist with campaign strategies, produce graphic assets, apply defined branding guidelines, and oversee creative development as needed
  • Evaluate and stay current with communications technology, trends, best practices, as well as emerging UX trends, tools, and channels
Qualifications
  • Ability to be a focused, quick learner with understanding and interest in communications and technology trends and best practices
  • Strong leadership skills, a natural ability to collaborate well with others, and the strength to coordinate and facilitate activities with colleagues across multiple functions and across the globe in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience managing digital communication programs (websites, mobile apps, digital signage, etc.)
  • Experience using common web technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience as an efficient problem solver
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Understanding of top level business strategies and organizational structures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite (photo and video editing skill)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, Public Relations, or related field
