What you will be doing...

As a member of our Cable Management Product line, the Associate Product Manager assists the Product Management team in making sure their product lines meet or exceed all the key performance indictors established during the annual strategic planning process.  They will work across functions to manage all aspects of the product life cycle from strategic planning to day-today tactical activities, with an emphasis on supporting the tactical activities associated with running a product line.  They will help coordinate and lead the efforts of sales, marketing, engineering, supply chain, and customer care to become the preferred solution provider for our customers.   


As an Associate Product Manager, a typical day may include:

  • Developing marketing collateral: electronic catalogue; promotional items (brochures, training slides, samples, etc.); New Product Introduction launch materials; Trade Show point of contact; Ad hoc Corporate initiatives
  • Support the development of the 5 Year Strategic Growth Plan: Market Analysis; Competitive Analysis; Industry Trends; Product Comparison analysis; Acquisition Candidates research
  • Product Management Liaison for Margin Improvement initiatives: Portfolio Management; Manufacturing footprint; Material/Tooling cost savings programs
  • Pricing Support: Portfolio Management Pricing; Raw Material Headwinds Pricing; Global Book Pricing
  • Support transactional activities: Product questions; Sample requests; Part maintenance; Pricing questions; Address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Opportunity follow up: opportunities; Distribution opportunity tracking/closure; Support strategic sales growth program EPS is going to start

What your background should look like...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as engineering, finance, marketing, business administration, supply chain, or operations management. 
  • 2+ years of professional experience in finance, sales, engineering, applications engineering, and/or business administration
  • Aerospace industry experience, highly preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Solid business acumen with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Proven ability to multi-task and drive results in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills
