Job Overview

The supply analyst is responsible in EMEA for the regional plants capacity planning, the link to the business unit Automotive and the local S&OP process to ensure that it complies with the overall TE Transportation Solutions strategy. In parallel this position requires direct interaction with customers, sales, customer service, other operations function such as material planning, engineering, etc. This individual will support the Engineering function for launch and sustaining projects with plant/vendor coordination. This position will assist with leading the monthly supply reviews and help proactively to develop and support an integrated operations/supply chain for the complete ICT product portfolio.

This position will take a proactive approach to strengthen the link / collaboration between operations, also closely interacting with other business units like Automotive, and the customer to ensure we have a robust supply chain.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and further develop the local S&OP processes, embedded into the ICT approach
  • Analyze the plants capacities for the mid-to long term horizon (Rough Cut Capacity Planning RCCP) based on the consensus forecast
  • Identify capacity bottlenecks within the monthly S&OP cycle and the daily work collaboration with the local departments (Planning, Manufacturing, Sales etc.)
  • Analyze ICT inventories, collaborate with local departments and ensure inventory is tracking to Business Unit and segment targets.
  • Coordinate with ICT Engineering and manufacturing plant teams to support launch and sustaining Engineering projects within the EMEA region
  • Support the monthly S&OP plant supply review meetings
  • Drive and track the action plan from the S&OP plant supply reviews
  • Support the plant(s) decision making process for tool and machine investments (Duplications, replacements)
  • Ensure that the S&OP architecture (JDA/Xelus/Kinaxis/etc) is used appropriately for the supply planning process
  • Closely collaborate with other functions (Planning, Manufacturing, Demand Management, Engineering, etc) to ensure that assigned or requested tasks are accomplished
  • Collaborate with global customers & global counterparts to analyze & improve the end-to-end   (E2E) supply chain process
  • Identify strategic supply chain projects
  • Monitor & report on supply chain KPI’s, drive actions to close any gaps
  • Undertake other tasks and duties that are within the capability of the individual

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field     
  • Minimum four years of Supply Chain experience
  • General knowledge of Operations/Manufacturing Processes
  • Project Management experience desirable
  • SAP Production Planning and Rapid Response Master Scheduling experience highly desired
  • Travel domestic and international 25%
