Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Overview :

The individual for this position will collaborate and provide the requirements in terms of MIS reporting, Adhoc analysis and facilitate business requirements for FP&A and Decision support team for Transportation Solutions Business unit. The duties and responsibilities will include on time deliverables, zero escalations, stake holder management, people management, transitions, Recruitment, Performance reviews, Appraisal, Escalations. Partner with different departments to bring more insights to existing setup.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for on time deliverables, Zero escalations
  • Month end closure support in SAP BPC system for closing books for Transportation Solutions Segment region wise without any delays and error free
  • Update and maintain appropriate KPI’s for daily, weekly and monthly review. Publish those on BU’s and TE Intranet site / SharePoint directory and maintenance of the same
  • Continuous improvement of processes, systems and reports, including the automation of reporting and analysis processes
  • Business Data support with the help of tools like COGNOS, WEBI-Business Objects and Web based applications.
  • Consolidation of KPIs and provide Data visualization in Tableau or Power BI
  • Transition of new reports and analysis from stakeholders
  • Automation of reports using tools like TED2.0, Cognos, VBA & SQL to reduce time consumption and increasing accuracy of reports
  • Prepare Presentation for weekly/monthly review with Customers.
  • Ensure Backup plan and Documentation of the process
  • Actively participate in the calls/meetings with BU team and understanding and working for business requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining BCP 
  • Supporting Global TS BU initiatives
  • Participate and establish TEOA techniques as per Corporate guidance

Educational Degree:

  • BCom/BBM, BE/Btech
  • MBA

Professional Experience:    

  •  8 - 10 years of relevant industry experience in Finance Management reporting, 3 - 5 years of Team handling experience
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credible relationship with geographically dispersed stake holders
  • Strategic thinking
