Quality Engineering Leader

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • Assures that QMS meets all Industry Standards and applicable international norms. Implements a Quality System that drives the achievement of company goals, through a complete analysis of inputs/outputs for each process, its interactions, roles, responsibilities, resources, risks, opportunities, documents and assures the continuous improvement.
  • Develops testing and measurement plans based on criteria that assures product performance and integrity, which is used to release products from the production floor.
  • Provides direct supervision to engineers and some technicians
  • Leads customer’s audits to the production floor
  • Monitors and analyses key metrics for processes and customers to ensure product requirements are met, risks are identified and continuous improvement is achieved.
  • Ensures that corrective actions and preventive actions are communicated, driven and monitored for effectiveness.
  • Provides Quality related mentoring to employees
  • Design and implements process controls focused on defect prevention


  • Bachelor in Industrial, Mechanical, or similar. Master degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience within Automotive Industry or similar
  • Proven experience on automotive manufacturing industry
  • Proven knowledge of Automotive Regulations
  • Hands on experience on Core Tools
  • Able to manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Presentation skills for Sr Mgmt levels
  • Hands on experience with Internal, External, and Third Party audits
  • Develops complex analysis of processes to identify systemic problems and solutions
  • Skills to evaluate processes effectiveness, risks and opportunities
  • Hands on knowledge on customer requirements and portals
