Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, capability and solid business acumen
- Demonstrated financial modelling experience with emphasis on manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to work with mid-to-senior management on business decisions effecting product and pricing
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions with data-driven analysis and consultation
- Exceptional organization skill and detail oriented. Ability to prioritize from a global perspective
- Flexibility to assume workloads which necessitate adjustment of priorities
- Strong organizational skills for managing and coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business unit

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum of 5-8 Years of applicable experience
- Experience in pricing products in different life cycle stages
- Experience working with Distributors, OEMs, and Utilities
- Experience in pricing new/existing products and customer pricing analytics
- Understanding of complex bid/RFQ processes
- Initiates action to achieve goals beyond what is required
- Self-motivated and effectively manages one’s time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
- Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts focused on process implementation & execution
- Strong PC abilities; very good knowledge to expert in database and spreadsheet applications is required
- Green Belt Certification is a plus
- Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software
