Los equipos de Ingeniería de Calidad y Confiabilidad de TE Connectivity analizan la capacidad de los productos y sistemas de producción para cumplir los requisitos del cliente y contractuales utilizando factores de confiabilidad establecidos. Diseñan y recomiendan revisiones e instalan sistemas de control de calidad, desarrollan y documentan métodos analíticos para establecer la confiabilidad de productos y sus componentes y realizan análisis con respecto a la confiabilidad relativa con respecto a costo, estructura, peso, mantenimiento, facilidad de producción y disponibilidad de materiales y equipos. Nuestros equipos desarrollan, implementan y monitorean programas y políticas de seguridad medioambiental de la empresa para garantizar el cumplimiento de reglamentaciones federales, estatales y locales relativas al medio ambiente, la salud y la seguridad y recomendar medidas correctivas, si corresponden. Responsibilities and Authority:

The successful candidate will actively work with Customers, Product Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing teams located in regional and global locations.
•    Assure quality in all manufactured products. 
•    Optimize processes and improve quality performance based in lead KPI´s
•    Controls manufacturing process to maximize quality improvement, improved efficiency, and cost reduction.
•    Active participation in process analysis, APQP, new product/process validation, design reviews and Safe Launch activities.
•    Coordinate a technician level team to assure the correct quality tools execution in time
•    Coordinate, review and submit PPAP documents to customer
•    Prepare PSW and Control Plans and conduct Process Capability and GR&R studies as part of PPAP submissions
•    Coordinates the manufacturing processes.  Creates timelines and goals.  Control’s processes/launch to ensure meeting customers’ requirements.
•    Troubleshoots assembly and/or machining equipment as required to meet quality and production requirements.
•    Creates and maintains controlled documents such as Control Plan, PFMEA, Operator Work Instruction, In-Process Inspection, Equipment Check Sheet, etc.
•    Conducts SPC, CPK, Gage R&R and time study as required.
•    Improves equipment layout, process and material flow to optimize production line efficiency.
•    Leads cross-functional team for solving quality problems by using root-cause analysis tools.
•    Practices 5S and Plan/Do/Check/Action cycles.
•    Trains operators on product knowledge and equipment operation.
•    Supports IATF16949 and ISO 14000 audits.
•    Assists Advanced Quality Engineering manager to plan, direct and coordinate all activities of engineering department.
•    Acts as quality engineering manager when manager is not available

Requirements

•    BS degree in Engineering from an accredited university
•    Experience as Quality Engineer in TS16949 automotive environment.
•    Experience using customer portals.
•    Experience in an automotive regulated environment (Tier 1 and OEM).•    Advance English (written and spoken).
•    Hands on experience with all tools of TS16949 especially APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis.
•    Working Knowledge of SPC, Capability Analysis, Gage R&R and Statistical Techniques. 
•    Experience with Minitab or other statistical software strongly desirable.
•    Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints of plastic parts, assemblies and systems.
•    Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools and other software products
•    Travel within US, Mexico and other international locations as required.
•    Meets the requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
•    Complies with the Regulations and Environmental and Safety Procedures.
•    It complies with the Safety and Environment Regulations that apply to the company.
