Continuous Improvement Analyst- TEOA Site Lead
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Site TEOA/Lean project teams, develop value stream maps and execute the TEOA/Lean implementation plan for the site to achieve the plant level TEOA metrics and goals while ensuring alignment to the business unit strategy.
• Develop VSM TEOA deployment plans consistent with business unit /plant strategic and operational plan.
• Create, plan, lead and follow-up of the TEOA implementation plan and ensure TEOA actions are visual and are driven to sustainable closure.
• Identify and organize resources required to achieve successful implementation in accordance with the plan.
• Co-ordinate Value Stream initiatives to achieve consistency and standardization across the Plant.
• Develop talent, skill levels of lean practitioners and other site personnel, in order to implement and sustain TEOA/Lean.
• Facilitate Flow and process Kaizen events.
• Manage Continuous Ideas Program to improve employee’s participation and kaizen culture.
• Manage TEBIT – TE Business Improvement Tracker – Savings. Partner with Finance team to account for predicted savings and track, validate and post financial/operational results.
• Provide leadership on lean thinking, lean processing, and lean production.
• Replicate examples of excellence across site and communicates this to other TEOA Practitioners within business unit.
What your background should look like:
TE Connectivity is seeking a qualified Continuous Improvement Analyst- TEOA Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the TEOA (TE Operating Advantage)/Lean deployment for value streams within their site. You will also work with the TEOA implementation teams to drive the development and facilitate the deployment of the TEOA/Lean culture & process. They will act as the subject matter expert for the TEOA/Lean methodology for multiple value streams and lean tools.
Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years of technical / operations experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering and finance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or 4-7 years experience in lieu of the degree.
• Green belt, desirable.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong team leader
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Analytically minded and data driven.
