What you will be doing...

As the Sr Manager for Product Development in Fremont, CA, you will lead the development teams focused on pressure sensor products, processes and assemblies for volume production.

In your position, you will be responsible in the following development tasks:

  • Manage a team of highly skilled engineers in product development department designing pressure sensors.
  • Lead the development of sensors for volume production in off-road vehicle and industrial applications
  • Closely collaborate with product management to develop technical roadmaps and observe market trends
  • Build new processes and relationship with manufacturing departments or external suppliers
  • Assure quality and reliability targets for new sensors
  • Report progress on projects and technology to senior management
  • Analyse customer problems in a collaboration with quality department
  • As a site engineering leader, work with other managers to comply with policies and promote company initiatives
  • Interact with your colleagues all over the world as the expert and helping-hand
  • You will be in contact with all internal departments in order to make your product a success on the market

What your background should look like...
  • University degree in engineering (Mechanical, electrical or related field),
  • 10+ years of experience in the field of sensors development (MEMS, ASIC, assembly, automation, pressure sensors)
  • Proven experience with customers in automotive and off-road vehicle is a big plus (design with IATF16949, ISO26262 standards)
  • 5+ years of experience in managing teams
  • Reliable, focused on quality, capable of working independently and under pressure, able to handle several projects concurrently, keen on innovative solutions
  • Always looking to improve and try new ideas,
  • Organized, accurate and structured, (6 sigma black belt is a plus)
  • Energizing and result oriented,
  • Open minded, looking forward to build teams based on inclusion and diversity
