Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.


As a Tender/Contract Analyst IV, you will:

•    Own the AMS Tender Pipeline and Schedule, ensure that all functions are aware of the tender deliverables and actively manage the contracts to successful closure
•    Leverage the needed escalation process to the global Energy business unit management to get the needed price/product approvals to maximize our market share
•    Setup the tender project teams based on the tender documents / specification analysis 
•    Plan the tenders well in advance to setup the correct pricing strategy to maximize our market share and obtain timely approvals according to the delegation of authority
•    Hold the sales organization accountable to give correct competitive insights to offer the needed and best competitive product technology
•    Once tender results are published, plan with product management and sales the product approval & new development plan for the next quotation cycle 
•    Coordinate the quotation/contract development between the relevant functions (e.g. sales, customer care, legal, supply chain etc.)
•    Minimize lead time and freight cost liabilities through the correct supply chain cost calculations and setup
•    Manage all tenders in collaboration with all functions in salesforce.com
•    Create monthly/quarterly tender performance analysis and develop with the sales team corrective actions.
•    Perform product warranty reviews, extensions and review claims and work with Product Management to resolve. 


What your background should look like:

•    Must have minimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
•    Minimum 5 years total professional experience
•    Top Communicator with Commercial Mindset
•    Should have had previous experience in preferably a similar function (Product Management, Project Management, Tender Manager)
•    Needs an excellent understanding of CRM Systems with specific focus on SFDC
•    Previous exposure or proven ability to work in a global, matrixed organization and shows high executive presence
•    Strong business acumen, ability to know how to hold other functions accountable on deliverables independent from the hierarchy level, leverage the needed escalation process
•    has worked as Project Leader or within a Supervisor function before
•    High level of written and verbal communication. English is required, additionally Spanish and/or Portuguese a strong plus

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $104,000.00– $132,600.00(subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
