Quality and Reliability Engineer I

Job Profile


As a Quality and Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for;
•    Act as point of contact for customer complaints. Handle customer complaints and issues and ensure these are resolved in line with TE processes and procedures. Mobilize teams of direct and non-direct reports to address customer issues. Ensure that customer complaints and issues are resolved with a sense of urgency
•    Read and understand drawings, specification documents. Exposure to Design and process validation testing and understanding test specifications
•    Support Safe Launch for New projects to ensure ‘0’ customer complaints before hand over the project to manufacturing site
•    Support improvement of Quality Management Systems, such as Document Processing & Control, Records Management, Change Control, deviations, Audits & Inspections 
•    Conduct and coordinate internal quality audits and facilitates audit preparations to ensure successful audits and external certifications.
•    Ability to support & act as a backup person for the Site Expert/Super User for PDM
•    Implement improvements or systems identified in QMS that support departmental or customer needs
•    Review & author QMS documentation and control & organization of site record
•    Coordinate corporate document reviews & communicate document changes (corporate & local) to site
•    Support the site retrieval/archival needs during audits & inspections

What your background should look like:

•    BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience
•    Knowledgeable in the following systems: Document Management, Change Control, Deviations, Audits & Inspections & Records Management processes/databases
•    Proven audit team leadership experience
•    Strong computer skills necessary to learn & train others regarding IT systems associated with QMS responsibilities
•    Willingness to learn new IT systems & develop progressive applications that improve processes & business
