Quality & Reliability Technician II

Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality & Reliability Technician II in Fairview, NC. This job is responsible for electrical, environmental, vibration and mechanical testing of relays, gathering test data from various electronic and computer systems (oscilloscopes, DMM's, LabVIEW, etc.), writing reports, maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic systems of testing and production equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year technical degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Electromechanical relay knowledge/experience preferred
  • Self-starter and willing to take ownership of issues/processes
  • Fundamental / Basic Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Comprehension
  • Measuring, Testing, & Reporting Skills for Test Regiment
  • Manual Dexterity / Small Components / Hand Tools
  • Ability to lift 30lbs(up to 60lbs if possible)
  • Ability to Read, Interpret, & Comprehend instructions and Designs (Internal & Customer Prints)
  • Aptitude for Learning
  • Verbal & Written Communication Skills
  • Computer skills: including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Flexible with days and hours worked (weekends, split shift, etc.)
  • ITAR Cleared - This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S. or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
