Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s IT Business Analysis Teams analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. They provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. They also configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing, create specifications for systems to meet business requirements and design details of automated systems. At times, TE’s IT Business Analysis Teams may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Strong background in Supply Chain: Planning, Purchasing and Logistic
  • Experience with Sales and Operation Planning process.
  • Develop and support reporting and measurement solutions for the Medical Products Business Unit. Report generation must be highly automated as many reports are published on a monthly basis.
  • Create ad-hoc reports or data extracts for various business functions as requested. 
  • Develop and support departmental applications and interfaces as stop gap solutions to allow process changes before corporate IT can respond.
  • Load and support business unit specific data structures in TED (Tyco Electronics Data Warehouse) and integrate these data structures into reporting.
  • Process monthly commissions and year-end bonus payouts.
  • Supporting the following applications: CRA (Industry Transfers); CMA (Contract Manufacturing Allocations); Sales Splits – rules for allocation of sales credit; and CCS – Commissions Compensation System.
  • Analysis of data for trends and their impact on improving reporting capabilities.
  • Re-validate solutions as changes are applied to the corporate data warehouse
  • Reconciliation of various data sources and systems.
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and work with various customers throughout the organization.
  • Five or more years as Data Analyst with reporting experience
  • Strong background with SQL coding
  • Excel experience with advance features such as pivot tables, filters, array formulas, macro building, lookup formulas, etc). 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • VB Macro Coding, SAS, TOAD, and Oracle DDL desired
  • Experience with Sales and/or Manufacturing data desired
