Job Overview

SubCom has an opportunity for an HR Business Partner. This position will report to the Director, Human Resources of SubCom The HR Business Partner is a key position which is responsible for delivering a broad range of human resources activities in support of the assigned client group in the areas of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation, Training & Development, Inclusion & Diversity, and Employee Relations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of global HR processes, such as goal setting, mid and year-end performance reviews,
  • Organizational Leadership Review, compensation cycle and others within the functions supported
  • Coach, counsel, and influence business leaders in the areas of employee relations, performance management, discipline, career development, etc.; ensuring consistent treatment of employees
  • Assist client leaders in determining needs of the organization and develop strategic workforce plan (SWFP), which enables the function to succeed in the goals to recruit, develop, and retain, top talent in alignment with the business strategy
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection activities for client group as assigned; coordinate employee on-boarding and process.
  • Proactively monitor the work environment to identify and address trends and areas of improvement to increase employee engagement
  • Establish and drive improvement on HR metrics and assist the functions in making decisions based on data
  • Be the voice of the employee and advocate their needs in front of business leadership
  • Interact and manage relationship with HR corporate functions and collaborate with peers and other HR teams inside the business to drive common initiatives, as well as share and implement best practices
  • Assess and provide performance feedback; mentor, develop and motivate the HR team, strengthening the bench of talent within the function
  • Promote a culture that reflects our company values, encourage outstanding performance, promote a positive work environment and reward productivity, establishing SubCom as an employer of choice

Requirements

  • BS degree; MSHRM preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in HR for different functions, with HRBP experience
  • Track record of successful deployment of talent development initiatives, as well as team building and leadership coaching
  • Exposure with Lean HR processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Culturally competent, Globally astute
  • Knowledge in the core HR process of global organizations
  • Business acumen and talent management experience enabling effective coaching of functional leaders supported
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization;
  • Experience working in the commercial transportation or automotive industry and/or large complex global organizations, highly recommended
