Internship Program Overview

TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.  

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are looking for a talented UX Design Intern to take our platform to the next level. The selected intern will have an opportunity to design TE.com experience. Our digital platforms and our brand, and implement the best user experience for all of our customers. This candidate will work closely with the resident design researcher in the UX & Design team to bring TE’s digital user experience vision to life, and will be a key voice in ensuring that we are making the right moves for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with digital product and user experience designers and researcher on new features.
  • Creating prototypes or mocks as needed.
  • Participating in, designing and potentially running user tests to gather feedback.
  • Working with the development team to ensure they implement your designs according to the specs
  • Working on triaging voice of customer feedback
  • Testing the final product before final sign off


  • Tech savvy and great at figuring out new things
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • Collaborative and personable
  • Previous B2B design experience preferred
  • Ability to do graphic design tasks preferred
