HR Analytics Partner (REMOTE)

Job Overview

The HR Systems and Workforce Analytics teams manage TE's HR Technology. They build, implement and continuously improve global HR systems, data, reporting and analytics platform. They also develop custom reports to meet business requirements, monitor HR systems and analytics needs and provide technology and analytics solutions by designing new or modifying existing systems.

 

Job Overview:
TE Connectivity currently has an opportunity within is HR Solution function for a HR Analytics Partner. This role will be within our HR People Analytics team focused on acting as a Partner to our Global Site Operations. 

As an Analytics Partner, you will closely align and understand the needs of our key Business Sites and will co-create reports, insights or help uncover needs to design and develop standard analytical approaches to solve our site needs. 

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, consultative, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to build relationships and align across the organization to drive outcomes. We are looking for someone who enjoys building , figuring out the best way to achieve results, and working closely with a diverse set of teams. We need someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity and uses creativity to combat challenges.

You will be reporting to the Head of HR Digital and work within a HR People Analytics team including, BI Consultants, Data Engineers and Data Management resources.

Key responsibilities: 
Consulting
•    Act as a point of contact to business segment leaders.
•    Seek to understand stakeholder questions, businesses and functions.
•    Scope, Prioritize and Capture clear statements of work.
Ad-hoc Insights
•    Deliver timely insights to answer basic questions.
•    Drive use of ad-hoc tools to educate your stakeholders how to self-serve.
•    Identify ways to better improve self-service ad-hoc insights.
Prototype
•    Turn requirements into prototypes to demonstrate clarity of design and purpose.
•    Seek feedback and commitment in approach before partnering with your team mates to deliver standard insights tools.
•    Be comfortable in iterating and working collaboratively with stakeholders. 
Reporting & Story Telling
•    Create visually appealing and logical insights for your stakeholders to use.
•    Design with the customer in mind, seeking to deliver usable insights.
•    Turn complexity into understandable information.
Technical / User Support
•    Provide break fix solutions and look at ways to reduce incidents.
•    Ensure users adopt new products through coaching, mentoring and enablement.
•    Work with enablement teams to create content and supporting guides.
Technology/Process
•    Be passionate in learning tools, methods and approaches to BI.
•    Trial, demo and give input into improving the Tech stack used to deliver insights.

Technical and Functional Expertise
•    Highly skilled in using MS Excel and Tableau.  
•    Strong ability to create data driven presentations in MS PowerPoint.
•    Experienced in survey design and analysis.
•    Effective in storytelling and data visualization.
•    Strong experience in managing SAP SuccessFactors reporting, Workday or related HCM platforms.
•    Exposure of Cloudera, Amazon Web Services or others data lake platforms.
•    Experience directing and working with other data analytics professionals.  
•    Prior experience delivering and working in Human Resources function.
•    Experience in determining mathematical approaches to solve problems, sampling plan and gathering, analyzing, and portraying data.
•    Knowledge data modelling, data pipelines and data management.
Professional Skills
•    Extremely strong stakeholder management skills at the VP and GM level.
•    Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently and collaborate within a distributed team.
•    Strong organizational and program management skills with exceptional attention to detail and strong design instincts. 
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills with people across geographies, functions, and levels of the organization.
•    Experience in HR project management, working on projects that impact the employee lifecycle.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,500-$116,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
