Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Software Systems Engineering Teams provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software operating/automation systems, including, but not limited to, utility, development, and diagnostic software. They perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure management of all aspects of the software development life cycle with complete ownership and accountability
  • Understand the requirements and derive product backlogs, user stories, story points
  • Perform detailed design and coding, debugging, unit testing and release of the given modules or systems
  • Design and update software documentation
  • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the Software stack.
  • Will be responsible for the overall Web Engine working on specific platform. This includes porting, upgrading, platform adaptation and new feature development
  • Managing software development servers and application such as defect tracking, and other collaboration tools.
  • Deployment of web application software for customer trials
  • Work closely with Product Management, Sales and customers on the identification and development of new products

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience as Full Stack developer in a product and software development role in an IT industry is essential with B. Tech in computing/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Full Stack development using the MEAN/MERN stack with Express.js & Node.js
  • Should be proficient with UI development using Angular or React
  • Experience in SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) architecture and RESTful API
  • Experience with JavaScript Unit testing framework Mocha and assertion libraries like Chai.
  • Experience with relation database MySQL, SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, and DB functions.
  • Experience with docker/docker compose is a must have on Linux platform.
  • Understanding of coding standards, security best practices & OWASP
  • Experience in GIT repository & branching & merging strategies on using tools like GitHub Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON and YAML formats
  • Knowledge of Linux file system, basic commands, and tools like CURL, ENV, TOP, HTOP
  • Develop cloud native applications on AWS
