Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist Pricing Team with business and market analytics for direct customer bids / RFQ’s by performing strategic pricing analysis and overall profitability analysis of the business opportunity
  • Reports to analyse BU Pricing Contracts with Direct, Distribution or Subcontractors.
  • Build creative price and margin improvement scenarios in line with the overall value-based pricing strategy; find pricing optimization opportunities in direct key accounts, distribution business
  • Perform Pre-Bid analysis and consolidate data for the evaluation of RFQ’s and proposals
  • Assist with pricing and quotation procedure changes and improvements
  • Interact regularly with Pricing, Sales, Product Management
  • Regular monthly or quarterly agreement review and provide insight on expiring parts for pricing decisions
  • Support Pricing Agreement with Ad hoc pricing analytics to improve margins.
  • Develop reports as required on Pricing KPI’s for all BU’s
  • Ensure Backup plan and documentations are in place
  • Identify the area of improvement and eliminate waste in routine tasks
  • Participate actively in team goals and support team work.
  • Continue driving the report enhancement to better serve the team’s needs.
  • Use Pricing Software Systems to perform customers’ profitability, price realization, and profit waterfall analysis. Ability to use and incorporate these analytics into pricing decisions.
  • Work cross functions to drive through execution of ideas and improvement initiatives; Drives results primarily through collaboration and influence, not through direct reporting relationships.
  • Performance analysis of volume compliance on agreements and rebate tracking for all regions.
  • Create tools that support processes and team members within Pricing, Finance, Sales, and Product Management.
  • Come up with process and strategy improvement suggestions through data analysis.

Key Task:

  • Simulate SPR’s/RFQ profitability and commercial effects of BU transactional pricing decisions for BU quotations across multiple product lines
  • Resolution on queries raised by external stake holder in EMEA Quote Support mail folder.
  • Maintain TAM DTAM analysis
  • Standard reports are published in time with accurate information.
  • Update the pricing agreements into SAP and GPMS.
  • Participate in projects by supporting in data gathering and providing information in prescribed format
  • Ensure Ship & Debit claim analysis is completed in time
  • Run COGNOS/Bobj reports and provide relevant information to the requestor

Key Performance Measurements:

  • Improvement and or reduction of customer portfolio price and margin variation
  • Agreement Process Cycle Time Reduction
  • % of Agreements Renewed on Time
  • Reduction and elimination of redundant agreements and contracts (consolidation)
  • Exceeding the requestor expectation on the feedback survey
  • Error less quality reports
  • Improve on time delivery of reports or tasks


  • Master’s in Business, Marketing, Finance
  • 1 to 7 Years of applicable experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to harvest data using tools such as TED 2.0, WEBI, etc.
  • Knowledge of TE Operational Advantage/Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Sound skills in MS Office packages Word and PowerPoint; Strong MS Excel and/or Access skills; Tableau skills; Strong analytical skills, preferably also in statistics.
  • Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software also a plus
