Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.



  • Regional responsibility for a specific customer with focus on sales growth in the Regensburg region
  • Very close cooperation with the customer on site
  • Development of new business areas and increase of customer satisfaction
  • Responsibility for the complete sales cycle from proposal preparation to contract closure
  • Supporting business processes with the customer on a global level
  • Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities and expansion of the existing product portfolio
  • Definition of future-oriented sales strategies
  • Pricing of existing business with a special focus on profitability enhancement
  • Responsibility for the complete sales cycle from proposal to contract closure
  • The job can also be performed from the home office

What your background should look like:

  • Engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in sales & marketing, preferably account management
  • Knowledge of trends, competitors and technologies that impact products and sales results
  • Excellent analytical skills, strategic and tactical thinking, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with various organizational units across all levels of hierarchy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and international matrix organization
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
  • The position requires regular business travel
  • Class B driver's license
  • Fluent German and English
