Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Overview:

The Quality Group is seeking a professional self-motivated individual who is task oriented and has the ability to perform with minimal supervision, self-directed, and in teams.  The successful candidate must take an active role in supporting the development of plant-wide quality objectives which are directed to maintain TE SubCom's position as the world leader in the manufacturing of undersea cable and electronics.

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The successful candidate shall possess: 

  • Leadership ability with good organization & communication Skills
  • Ability to work independently and possess the flexibility to respond to multiple assignments
  • Ability to use a variety of precise measuring devices (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and coordinate activities with manufacturing personnel
  • Ability to review, interpret, and verify engineering & Customer specifications as described in SPIM’s EI’s and to follow specialized instructions
  • Decision-making skills to evaluate and make dispositions of product acceptability during all phases of manufacture
  • Interpersonal skill to act as a liaison between manufacturing & engineering, as well as customer representatives and auditors
  • A quality conscious attitude with emphasis towards teamwork, a team approach to accomplish project goals and implement solutions to problems
  • A willingness to accept responsibility and participate in continuous quality improvement activities that contribute to overall TE SubCom goals
  • High School Diploma a minimum, additional schooling desired
