Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Know and understand TE products and product search engines incl. OEM restrictions to offer the right general parts to the customers
  • Identify potential new customers in cooperation with Sales and Marketing
  • Active lead follow-up
  • Turn leads into business
  • Provide Service & Support to small existing customers to develop them to stable growing customers
  • Drive actions to identify net new customers
  • Ability to explain and sell to the customer TE products including mating and related parts to ensure to sell complete solutions to customers
  • Support business development activities of defined customers in cooperation with Sales
  • Understand business needs of customer and offer synergetic products to them
  • Regular Meetings with Sales & Product Mgmt for information exchange and initiation of improvement actions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Electronics / vehicle technology / Engineering or other technical stream
  • 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service or field sales preferably in Automotive industry
  • Advanced technical knowledge
  • System knowledge in SAP, MS Office, SalesForce.com, TED
  • Mentality of “Customer First”
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eager to increase sales and clients
  • Ability to influence
