A Red X Practitioner is the person responsible of solving technical problems through the Red X methodology, working to complete the FACTUAL to properly define the project scope, find the Red X and understand the physics behind the problem

 

Tasks

  • Lead technical problem solving projects using the Red X methodology
  • Responsible for the correct use of the Red X methodology
  • Develop problem solving strategies and complete the FACTUAL
  • Verify measurement systems for the purpose of problem solving
  • Work with engineering, operations and quality teams through the length of the project.
  • Find and confirm the Red X (turn the problem “On and Off”).
  • Work with engineering, operations and quality teams to propose a solution.
  • Confirm solution efficiency through the usage of run charts, p-charts or similar
  • Escalate any roadblock of the project.
  • Report project status on every meeting.
  • Work with operations in order to perform the testing with the minimum affectation to the line output

Qualifications

 

  • Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering Degree or with similar disciplines
  • Hands On Experience in Assembly, Stamping or Molding process
  • 2 Years of Experience in Industry
  • Experience in Project Management

 

  • Natural inquisitive nature
  • Knowledge of the physical world
  • Self-starter
  • Takes initiative
  • English language proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Minitab proficiency

 

  • Knowledge of Problem Solving Methodologies as Red X
  • Technical backgroun
  • Good communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills
