Responsibilities:
- The TEOA Leader will be in charge of developing and deploying the value stream daily accountability process and employing problem solving methodologies to find the root cause and develop countermeasures for misses to daily targets, identifying and ensuring resolution of system issues and ensuring the successful accomplishment of customer expectations.
- Assists the identification of production requirements within the Value Stream ensuring alignment with all process departments on needed capacity and priorities to achieve the Value Stream goals along with the development and deployment of appropriate planning,
- Ensures compliance to the quality management systems in all activities performed within the facility
- Leads and supports external & internal audits from external sources including preparation activities in advance of such audits.
- Ensures all customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints are professionally addressed in a timely manner and escalates critical issues as appropriate, while delivering on an extraordinary customer experience. (5d&8d)
- Utilizes the best-in-class problem solving tools, drives robust and effective corrective and preventive actions through the CAPA system.
- Proactively lead and support improvements to void customer complaints and scrap
- Participates and actively leads the execution of the site’s TEOA Programs in relation to the Quality department.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team to develop and deliver on the site strategic targets and objectives.
- Mentors and trains staff to perform effectively in their work and ensures the training is documented.
- Engages and manages a high-performance quality team including Quality Inspectors, Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, and Supplier Quality Engineers.
- Creates a strong team working environment with focus on customer needs, compliance, product quality, and risk mitigation
Skills, Experience and Education:
- The development of site deployment plans consistent with the business unit’s strategic plan
- Fully supports and incorporates safety and safety initiatives in all kaizens and behavior
- Assists the facility leadership team to set the vision for the site and participates in the development of gap plans and corresponding action items to achieve this vision. Helps implement the vision as needed
- Identifies and organizes resources required to achieve successful implementation in accordance with plan
- Administers and aides projects teams and development plans at both site and functional levels
- Develops the skill levels of practitioners and other site personnel to implement and sustain Lean & Six Sigma projects
- Monitors progress against plans, achievement of continuous improvement, and progression to higher star assessment levels
- Monitors and reports site-level measurement and performance against star-level assessments
- Leads continuous improvement activities that enhance the overall effectiveness within the facility to achieve the plan level metrics and goals
- Facilities Kaizen events throughout the site to drive continuous improvement
- Provides employees with required training as well as assisting in defining and guiding standardized programs to educate employees in the principles of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Foster the adoption of continuous improvement as a way life, creating a culture of change.
Competencies
COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $79,300 – $118,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
