Job Overview

The Automation Supervisor plays a key role in leading and overseeing the automation team, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency of production machinery within the company. This position requires a strong understanding of automation principles, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

ACTIVITIES:

•Results oriented leader who supervise a team of automation engineers, technicians, or other specialists while mentor them or coaching the team always following our company values.
•Develop, implement, and manage automation projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
•Analyze and identify areas for automation improvement, recommending and implementing new technologies and processes.
•Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation.
•Collaborate with engineers, operations, and other departments to identify automation opportunities and ensure successful integration.
•Monitor and analyse automation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
•Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, procedures, and processes.
•Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations related to automated systems.
•Stay current on the latest automation trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field (preferred).
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering, supervision, or a related field.
•Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
•Strong understanding of automation principles, including robotics, control systems, and programming.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
•Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
•Proficient in automation software and tools (e.g., PLC programming, SCADA systems).
•Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
•English, conversational level.
