Senior Manager Product Pricing

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Data(5%)
•    Harvesting data from additional sources
•    Downloading & and uploading pricing to ERP Systems 
•    Handling price requests 
•    Understand and use SQL, Tableau, and other software to manage data.

Analytics(5%)    
•    Ensure the effectiveness of Book Price
•    Identify and drive for solutions for low margin business.
•    Monitor agreement performance.
•    Identify and investigate transactional pricing leakage.
•    Use advanced analytics to identify problems and opportunities.
•    Explore next-level Pricing areas (i.e., competitive analysis, A.I., cross-functional data integration, etc.)

Strategy(25%)
•    Define process and drive system optimization (TEOA)
•    Define strategy and KPI that aligns with business objectives and market dynamics.
•    Manage balance between price improvement and transactional execution.
•    Playbooks/Strategy key customers/products

Communication    (30%)
•    Presentation skills 
•    Balancing Stakeholders (Sales, PM, Customers, Finance) 
•    Ability to simplify and communicate complicated tasks. 
•    Influence without authority  
•    Excel / PPT skills – charts and graphs 
•    Able to summarize and distill information – telling the story & Email written messages.
•    Ability to explain the process. 
•    Communication & Primary Regional communication – peer-to-peer, cross-functional 
•    Communicate stakeholders:  Sales, PM, Finance Customers- indirect, Customer Service

•    Segmenting of industries and customers

Qualification/Experience

EXPERIENCE:


•    College degree in economics, finance, statistics, business, or comparable experience
•    6+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role
•    2+ years of experience as a people leader or equivalent leadership role, with high potential capability


EDUCATION:


•    4-year degree required.
•    MBA preferred.
