Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations. In this particular case EH & S Coordinator will be performing the function of the Occupational Health and Safety Service for FSC office space as well as two laboratories (molding lab and clean lab)

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting inspections of working conditions and compliance with the rules and regulations of occupational safety and health.
  • Keeping the employer informed of identified occupational hazards, together with proposals aimed at removing these hazards.
  • Preparing and presenting to the employer, at least once a year, periodic analyses of the state of occupational safety and health, including proposals for technical and organizational measures aimed at preventing threats to the life and health of employees and improving working conditions.
  • Participation in the development of plans for the modernization and development of the workplace and submission of proposals for the inclusion in these plans of technical and organizational solutions to ensure the improvement of occupational health and safety. 
  • Participation in the evaluation of assumptions and documentation for the modernization of the workplace or its parts, as well as new investments, and submission of proposals for the inclusion of occupational health and safety requirements in these assumptions and documentation. 
  • Participation in the handover for use of newly constructed or reconstructed construction facilities or parts thereof in which work premises, production facilities and other equipment affecting working conditions and employee safety are envisaged.
  • Supervising and coordinating EHS activities as required by law and regulations
  • Close cooperation with EH&S colleagues from other locations in Poland and globally
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and in connection to EHS provisions
     

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor degree
  • Postgraduate studies in occupational health and safety
  • Valid certificate(s) of periodic training for the Occupational Health and Safety Service
  • Good knowledge of English (min. B2)
  • Professional experience in the Occupational Health and Safety Service (min. 4 years)
