Job Overview
We are seeking a individual to support the North America Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and developing a proposal for customer tech day materials and kits. This individual will report into the NA Sales Director.

As an Intern in the ICT Business Unit, you will:
•    Learn the ICT Market, customers, and products to develop and propose the necessary content and materials for customer technology days
•    Gain understanding of TE’s organization
•    Gain understanding of TE’s products and manufacturing processes
•    Understanding presenting a new product or technology internally understanding our value to the customer.
•    Gain experience in project management and working across functions and business units
 
Responsibilities
•    Evaluate current state of customer tech day kits
•    Partner with account managers and product managers to understand the needs for customer technology days
•    Propose new tech day kits to be developed
 
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
•    Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
•    Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Major from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history
•    Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred
•    Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation  
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.20-38.64 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience for interns that targets professional development and personal growth. 

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10–12-week program, interns will be provided with:

•            Operations Experience

•            Executive Exposure

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
