Job Overview

The Value Stream Manager for Nuclear Products will assess, guide, and monitor the production across all manufacturing sites of TE Connectivity for all nuclear products and customers of the Energy Business Unit.

  • Communication and Coordination
    • Monitors and guides the production across all manufacturing sites for all nuclear products and customers.
    • Actively interacts with all stakeholders: Regulatory, Product SME, Planning, Engineering, Sales & Customer Demand to maintain an active support team.
    • Conduct monthly Product Reviews (SIOP step 1) with all stakeholders to align on actions and ensure customer deliveries are met.
    • Report out to management periodically as defined by the manager.
    • Support and coordinate escalations.
  • Activity Leadership
    • Lead activities with all key stakeholders, to develop a long-term strategy that will simplify the nuclear value stream.
    • Ensure operational capabilities (skills and production capacity) are aligned with the long-term strategy to meet future product demand.
    • Lead the creation of a COE (center of excellence) to drive a competitive advantage including the assessment of the required resources, competence, and capabilities.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify and remove quality and productivity/yield barriers for nuclear production.
    • Responsible for multi-functional / cross-regional optimization of the Supply Chain from raw materials to finished products.
  • Ongoing/Sustaining
    • Validate the industrialization processes under MRL principles.  Inspect / audit processes at all production sites under product quality assurance.
    • Ad-hoc intervention to support factories and vendors in response to abnormal demands, capacity bottlenecks, stock-outs, supply shortages, and logistics challenges.
    • Monitor the supply side of raw materials and align with procurement on any risk mitigation activity.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/supply chain or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of overall experience with Value Stream Mapping within Manufacturing
  • Skilled in Value Stream Mapping in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics Knowledge of Injection molding is a plus.
  • Experience in the qualification/inspection process in highly regulated industries (automotive, aerospace / pharmaceutical / nuclear) is a plus.
  • The quality assurance process for nuclear power plants is a plus.
  • Leadership - requires the ability to lead, negotiate, take charge, and collaboratively manage others, in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
  • Strong Project Management & Communication Skills
  • Experience in delivering presentations to Top Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful, with the ability to manage remotely.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $129,360 - 194,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
