Job Overview

The Warehouse Material Transaction Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of material transactions within the warehouse. This role involves auditing and reconciling inventory movements, transactions, and records to identify discrepancies and maintain data accuracy. The Auditor works closely with warehouse personnel and management to implement corrective actions and improve transaction processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Audit material transactions within the warehouse, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments, to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and spot checks to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze transaction data for trends, errors, and anomalies, and report findings to management for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to implement best practices and process improvements to enhance transaction accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and records of audit findings, corrective actions, and process improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on proper transaction recording and inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse environment.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely information and documentation as needed.
     

What your background should look like:

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or material auditing role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and auditing procedures.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
  • Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse safety regulations are desirable.
  • SAP experience (preferred)

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $32,320-48,480 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
