Senior Analyst - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

Job Overview

• Work with stakeholders to identify reporting needs, metrics, and systems.
• Support the effective and efficient governance of self-service BI tools through developing and fostering standards, processes, and visualization / analytics best practices.
• Utilize tools such as Excel, Tableau and SQL to automate repetitive analytics tasks and to deliver insights by blending multiple data sources together.
• Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights that deliver ROI. This could include use of variance analysis, dashboards/ reporting, sales analytics, and regression.
• Support the modeling and creation of datasets to be then used for self-service dashboard reports. Have knowledge of used datasets to be able to provide guidance to engineers and/or stakeholders.
• Streamline data preparation and processes for maximum automation and efficiency whilst supporting environment migrations where required.

What your background should look like:

• Possess knowledge of Tableau & SQL allowing for independent work
• 2+ years’ experience in Tableau (including Prep)
• 2+ years of Data Preparation using SQL.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database software
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Background in data analytics, business intelligence and reporting
• Ability to analyze business requirements and prepare technical requirements.
• General knowledge and experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems
• Ability to validate own work and work of others, results oriented, customer focused, team player.
